A Beautiful Girl

A Beautiful Girl.

A beautiful girl died today
a conversationalist, rightly so
a modest girl, an intellectual
although she didn’t really know.

A joy to engage and converse
good times we had shooting the breeze
God blessed me with this Sister-in-Law
memories are made of times like these.

Her pain and suffering at an end
reunited with long past kin,
an endless time of peace and joy
helps us all find comfort within.

Death has no power over the soul
only the flesh grows weak and old
eternal life is what lies beyond
In the scriptures, stated so bold.

So many tears, a river cried
so many hearts stricken with pain
such a cruel fate for all to bare
Beautiful Girl, I know we’ll meet again.
